LRP, so far known as a leading manufacturer in speed controllers and accessories, used all it´s experience from many years of RC product design to release a all new 1/18 size car, the LRP SHARK — 18 ! The SHARK-18 Buggy is a true 1/18 scale Off-Road racer. Following its bigger examples, the powerful 1/8 scale buggies, the Shark 18 is the new benchmark in the micro car scene: Extremely fast, precise and aggressive. At home in the living room, the office, the backyard, at the skate park or on the race track — everywhere is a good hunting ground for the LRP SHARK-18. The LRP SHARK-18 buggy shows his rivals its shark teeth: 4WD-shaftdrive, 4 aluminium oil shocks, aluminium shock towers and an extra rigid chassis in tub design. While developping the SHARK-18 buggy, our R&D-Team exactly followed the big examples, the 1/8 scale buggies. Main features like 4 wheel drive and the suspension geometry were taken over. It was not only our task to transform the proven details from 1/8 scale to 1/18 scale — the main target was to develop a real 1/18 scale race buggy. Many things like the installation of the electric components, the position of the motor, the suspension or the drive train needed to fulfill the requirements for the smaller scale. At the end of the R&D time, the LRP SHARK-18 RTR is a micro buggy with the handling of a real 1/8 scale Buggy!
