Maifield rules the The Big One!

Ryan Maifield was the dominating driver of The Big One race. With his LRP-powered Associated Cars, he won the Buggy and Truggy classes in style.

Last weekend the Lost Creek R/C Raceway team in Oakland Mills, PA hosted its annual event entitled, The Big One. In a few short weeks, their track will be the site of the ROAR 1/8 Offroad Nationals. Racers used this event to test and prepare at the large track with hot and humid weather along with the opportunity to earn some cash.
Team Associated / LRP driver Ryan Maifield was in attendance and set the pace all weekend long. Taking the top qualifying position and winning in both 1/8 Buggy and Truggy with this LRP-powered Team Associated RC8.2 and RC8T, Maifield looked comfortable at the LCRC facility. Not to be forgotten  was the strong performance from Maifield's Team Associated teammate, Gunnar Rieck. A podium finish of third behind Bill Easton, who came in second in 1/8 Buggy, is impressive for the New Jersey driver.
Ryan and Gunnar rely on the endlessly powerful LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic Nitro Competition Engine – just offroad racing in a new dimension!
Congratulations to Ryan and Gunnar! And all the best for the upcoming ROAR Nationals!
